growing variety of cauliflower. The curds are compact, slightly conical, and
creamish white. It's ready for harvest usually in November. The average yield
of this variety is 20 t/ha.
Sonwball-16
The Sonwball-16 is a variety ideal for cooler climates of
the North Indian states. It is a late-maturing variety of cauliflowers. The
curds are medium-sized and solid and are white in colour. This variety is said
to be ready for harvesting from January to March. The average yield of this
variety is around 25-30 t/ha.
Pant Gobhi-2

to be an early maturing variety. The curds are compact, composite and creamy
white in colour. The curds are usually ready for harvesting from November to
December. The average yield of this variety is around 12 t/ha.
Dania Kalimpong
The Dania Kalimpong is a variety commonly grown in the
eastern parts of India. It is known to be a late-season variety. The curds are
medium-large, compact, attractive and white in colour and less sensitive to
environmental fluctuations. This variety is ready for harvesting from January
to April.
Pusa Snowball-1
The Pusa Snowball-1 is a late-maturing variety of
cauliflower. The curds are very compact, medium in size and snow-white in
colour. The variety is ready for harvesting from January to April. The average
yield of this variety of cauliflower is around 25-30 t/ha. This variety may be
susceptible to black rot.
Punjab Giant-35
The Punjab Giant-35 is the main season variety of
cauliflower. The curds are white, compact and medium-sized. The variety is
ready for harvesting from mid-November to December. The average yield of this
variety of cauliflower is around 17 t/ha.
